Favorite Assignments

I went on assignment to my middle school covering a WW2 museum. That article was picked up by the Associated Press, and was in print in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution!

As a reporter for Young Edge, we picked our article topics. I was able to write about something I'm passionate about: fountain pens!

Four members of the Young Edge crew conducted a video interview spotlighting the West Hall girls basketball captains. They went all the way to the Elite 8 this season.

Honors Mentorship: This year at the Gainesville Times, there were several interns. The Times provided the other interns and I the opportunity to run our own section of the online paper. As the editor, I helped organize this section. In addition to my contributions to the Young Edge site, I was also able to have many articles published in thr print newspaper in the form of Get Out articles, and feature peices for the Life section.

I am a junior at Flowery Branch High School.

This year, I interned at the Gainesville Times newspaper.
